QUAIL CREEK NEWSLETTER

November/December 2007

HAPPY HOLIDAYS: A great group of neighborhood volunteers have again decorated the pavilion and fountain beautifully for the holiday season. A big thank you to each and every one of them! It is also time for all homeowners to plan their participation in our annual Christmas home decorating competition. Our decorating has been featured on KY3 in the past. Please do consider participating and vote for your choice in the ballot below. Decorating should be completed by December 10. Use the ballot below to vote for your favorites. Detach and place in our mailbox (it doesn't need a stamp) no later than December 16. The Board of Directors will collect and tally the votes. The top three homes awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be based on total number of votes per home. Santa signs will appear at the winning homes. Be sure to take time to tour our neighborhood during the season and enjoy the holiday decorations.

SECOND NOTICE OF POLICY CONCERNING: PORTABLE ON DEMAND STORAGE (PODS). Due to the number of "PODS" appearing in Quail Creek Subdivision, the Board of Directors has determined that it will be necessary for property owners to first obtain the permission of the Board prior to placing these items or items of a similar type on their property. The Board will post an application on our website, which the homeowner can print, fill out, and mail to: Quail Creek Property Owners Association, 4205 S. Quail Creek Ave., Springfield, MO 65810 or the application may be obtained from any board member, filled out, and mailed. This policy will become effective January 1, 2008. The Board of Directors will give due consideration to requests keeping in mind a four-day time limit and the requirements of our Covenants.

HOSPITALITY: Welcome to our new residents at 4695 S. Parkhill, Rex and Rosemary Temple. Their phone number is 883-3578. They are retired except for Rex's consulting work. Please add to our Directory.
